Celebrate the 250th Birthday of America with Music

Join TACO on Sunday, July 5th, from 4 to 6 pm.

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with the Terrible Adult Chamber Orchestra performing patriotic music that reflects our history, hopes, and dreams. The program features ten American works, each introduced with brief commentary on their historical context, the composers' perspectives, and the struggles and bravery behind the nation’s enduring ideals.

The orchestra welcomes vocal prodigy Perri So, a 13-year-old student at JLS Middle School in Palo Alto, who will sing the national anthem.

This free public concert will be held on the outdoor ParkStage behind the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts.

Listeners should bring their own folding chairs or blankets for lawn seating.
